Attention GCCS community. A post that circulated last year is again making its rounds and we have no reason to believe there is any validity to it, and also believe that it does not reference any schools in Cibola county, however, we will err on the side of caution and have a police presence on campuses this week to ensure the safety of our students and staff. San Rafael Open House Tuesday August 15, 2023 5:30 PM - 7 PM Come meet the new school staff and returning staff. Students whose parents stay involved in school have better attendance and behavior, get better grades, demonstrate better social skills and adapt better to school. Parental involvement also more securely sets these students up to develop a lifelong love of learning, which researchers say is key to long-term success

San Rafael Parents Take Note of the change: All Elementary Schools are required a minimum of 6 hours and 36 minutes of daily instructional time.   Arrive at school 7:30 - First Bell at 7:50 AM     Tardy if after 8:05 AM   Dismissal Bell is 2:56 PM     Breakfast is served at school.   Reminder if a Delay Start Breakfast is not served.
